Student Writing Project for the National Year of Reading seminar

In this workshop, teachers workshopped ways of engaging learners' interest to write about their experiences of reading/ learning to read. The Council is hosting a seminar on Thursday 21 June, 5.30-6.30 at the University of Technology, Sydney, where teachers can workshop ways of supporting their learners through the writing process. Whether you are participating in the National Year of Reading project or not, this seminar will be an excellent opportunity to share different approaches and challenges of teaching writing.

    Workshop- Teaching and learning more than Foundation Skills - 28th June 2018

    Teaching and learning more than foundation skills Workshop 5.30-6.30, Thursday, 28th June 2018 Room Cb10.5.580, Building 10, UTS,  Jones St, Ultimo In this workshop, participants will consider both the imperative for, and possibilities of,  teaching more than ‘foundation skills’ to our adult literacy and numeracy learners.
